As a result, Jon’s fate led him to St. PJ’s Children’s home, where he began his education in a private Christian school that instilled a heart for helping others, much like the help he received himself.

As a child of the 1970s and personal computer revolution, Jon’s love for technology led him to build computers from scratch and start a small company that paid for his college education. With a desire to help small businesses automate their processes, he created inventory and database systems that modernized paper systems for various industries. Once the web emerged, Jon’s dream of combining his love for technology with his desire to help others became a reality.

While working at Trilogy Software development with some of the world’s best name brands, Jon worked with invaluable mentors and faced complex challenges. After the DotCom bubble burst in 2000, Jon reflected on his path forward and founded Beyond Secure, with a focus on the need for security in an immature business world. With over 20+ years of experience in information security, we’ve become a leader in the industry, providing guidance to business leaders overwhelmed with navigating the journey to craft sustainable information security programs to protect their business and stakeholders.
